So, I've had this little clown loach for a few months. A few weeks ago he started to develop a little dot on his side, and it has gradually gotten darker. He never had this before and its a perfect round dot that matches the color of his other markings.
Has anybody ever had a clown loach that changed its pattern before? I didnt know this was possible but he looks damn cool now!! :headbang2

I have 7 clown loaches, 2 of which have developed spots on their sides as they got larger. I think it must be a genetic trait in some clown loaches as only some of the them seem to develop it IMHO. BTW nice looking loach.

I have had a couple of half-bars and saddlebacks get spots as they got larger. It's always a nice surprise.
Awesome picture man! Looks good!

That's pretty cool. Maybe my new little guy will develop some spots later on. Right now his first stripe is almost none existent and his second is only a saddle with a dark sort of "hood" going from between the eyes back to the dorsal connecting the first 2 stripes
He's prerfect for you, looks like a gun shot to the side:D
