i dont know much about prices from stores really so can't help you there.

and yea im thinking about more plants but ive heard drift woods not good cause it can cut and harm the fish ecpescially there pbass and are VERY active when eating could really get bad but i will deff. put in more plants i have a plant that was at the surface cause it floated up and its about 28" so dunno.

its a 125 but thats only for a couple more months most likely.

if they're doing alright as it is...i wouldn't add much of anything. the bass are pretty active and need a good amount of swim space.

try it and if they dont seem to like it....then you have extra plants for later use.

ten bucks is about average for a juvie CK...just make sure you have the tank to house it. they get big fast. the CK pictured above is still less than a year old.

It will heal in time. Just feed well and often , keep up with the water quality and in no time the tail will heal up. Its going to happen so just get used to it now. By the way great pickups you got from killz again:headbang2

yea im thinking also it has to do with the clown knive because he has been chasing them alot also all the other fish (gar and pleco) hes kind of a big pest in my tank its somewhat getting anoying because there in my room and at night i hear splashing or fish hitting the glass and i have also got water splashed on me and there is a hood to got through the cracks. but o well ill survive just with a little more ignoring of them.

that's the CK for ya. he's a beast at night.

the bass will be fine. just give him time.

zfoster22

yea but i think he is kind of causing some of the split fins .

Mr Pleco

yea but i think he is kind of causing some of the split fins .

If the CK is giving you that much grief. Try setting the tank up alittle different to provide him an area he kinda call his own. The royal clown knife I have is about 17-18" now and shows no sign of aggression to my dat, clown loaches, rays or arowanas. The only thing he goes after is the 1lb or so of food i throw in the tank each day:eek:

zfoster22
05-28-2008, 11:36 PM
alright ill try setting up a slate cave for him.

kiLLz kC
05-30-2008, 11:34 AM
careful with the slate. when the fish show any aggression, they move ALOT. i've always had a piece of wood leaned up against the glass at one end and he always claimed that spot. try with what you have as wood gets a little pricey.
