I am looking into purchasing a freshwater stingray for my 150gal I currently own two very large pleco's over 20" a peice has anybody out there have problems with the pleco's sucking on the stingray's body

what problems did you come across?

the plecos would rasp on the stingrays back . I would see marks on my rays back.

it depends on each indivual pleco...some plecos arent as bad...some will kill ur stingrays. I only trust small plecos with big rays.... I think since you have big plecos you might want to monitor them closely. But then again I had this pleco that lived with my rays for a long time and then one day he decided to sucks my Leos till the disk was all white...so ur taking ur chances

I reccommend never putting large pleco's with other larger fish, specifically scaleless ones. The pleco will olmost certainelytry and eat the slime coat of them.

ya, I haD two 9-10 inch plecs last night....then i found one had sucked the **** out of the other.....now I have one that's ok and one that's all ****ed up.
