Hell the Gulper is a lot lighter colour than our ones. Did you still keep one Danny? Is there one big enough to live in with my one mate as dont want it to get chewed u!

Their colour is slowly coming
Yeh still got one mate. These little ones are so sweet, they come to me hand and have a sniff then swim round it and come back again lol
I remember reading somewhere that they dont eat their own kind, but I cant afford that experiment incase lol.

man that gulper looks sweet. wish i had a spare tank for one. how are the marbles doing? any chance of pics once they've settled so i can choose mine? can pop up and get him anytime so just let me know when they're ready to go.

How big is he total length Danny. If big enough not to get eaten I will def have him.

Id say they approx 5" mate

Do you ever see Calophysus macropterus (vulture catfish) on your lists? Roughly how much and what size are they please mate?

They've currently got them in at wildwoods (8" for £80) and someone on aquarist classifieds is selling one at 9-10 inch for £75. I got one from wildwoods just before xmas and it's about 14" now and faaaaat!!!

Cheers Marvin for the info. Does yours live on its own or in a community. My Bolt is aggressive so I would have thought that the vulture follows suit.
What is he taking at the moment and if you dont mind, what size tank is he in.
