Yea.. melafix is good stuff, although I'm not sure if they have it in Singapore... I would do big frequent water changes and add a little salt.. should get the job done.

Looks like a Red Wolf to me, but could be a Gold Wolf.. I haven't seen too many Gold's at that size so I can't say 100% sure.

just add salt and turn the heat up a bit. wolves heal pretty fast so he should be ok soon.

what is its max size?
8" is the max size on Red Wolves.. if you think it's lazy you should try a common wolf :D

may i know how to differentiate their sex?
Mudfrog

If it's anything like the common's then it's near impossible to tell the sex, the females are thicker.. thats about all I know.

its a red wolf.
erythrinus erythrinus.
those in serangoon always have wounds. :irked:
but they heal fast.
when i got one there,i just add salt and my tank temp is always high.
they tolerate any kind of water.
but i think lower ph is better.
have good filtration too.

I keep mine at 82 degrees, they like softer water as well. Aside from the temp they really aren't too picky about their water conditions, they just prefer clean water.

they are much more sensetive to nitrites too.

my big tank is at 31.5 degrees celcius and my small tank is 28 degrees celcius.
but i think best would be around 30 or less.
