Depends on the fish. Its comments like that that gives pikes a bad name. They are no more aggressive than most SA/CA cichlids. They just get more of a bad rep for it undeservingly.

Um, Jer, I would say the fact that her fish went homicidal is what helps to give these pikes a bad name, not her comment about it.

I would chalk it up to rogue behavior though and not take it as a sign of behavior for all cobras.

She wasn't saying her individual pike, she was lumping in pretty much all cobras with her statement. Which is why I said it depends on the fish. Pikes have seperate personalities, you can get a docile pike and an overly aggressive pike from the same species.

Its like Jeremy said, not all pikes are homicidal. They each have personalities just like other CA/SA's. I have three different species in a 125 and no aggro between them.
