Very nice. Do you find any personality differences between Him/Her and any of the more common P-bass.
I know Azuls are usually pretty agro

These guys are pretty passive. Rarely do they get into it and even then it is just lots of flaring and posturing. No actual attacks.

Thanks! I'm trying desperately to find a mate as mine are all male. Unfortunately, of all the Sao Francisco race that were brought in I can only find one person that has any left and they have a single, unsexed fish that they are not interested in selling at this point. :(
Since kelberi are one of the smaller Cichla species they are very manageable in a captive situation growing no larger than a good sized Oscar. While diet would require a little more specialized care it would put keeping Cichla within many more hobbyist's reach. And being so gorgeous should make them very popular.
Oh well... :cry:
