My lungfish has developed some swelling on one side of his jaw (not a lot; just enough to make his head look a little lopsided). He has been opening and closing his mouth for the last few days. He started shaking his head like in was bothering him. Any ideas? Thanks.

He is eating and coming up for air. I am going to get a pic of him opening his mouth.

You can see swelling on his right side (left side of the pictures). I tossed a little krill in the tank and he came right to the top.

He seemed to be doing better for a little bit, but now he is looking more swollen. What meds should I use?

if its bacterial infection, i would use some antibacterial meds, or even broad spectrum antibiotics, probably at 2/3 the dosage just in case they are sensitive to meds (i've kept a south american lung and have added med at full dosage but i guess its good to be safe)

I will give it a shot. Thanks for the advice.
