I have a condi anemone in my sw tank, and i was wondering about hermit crabs. I've heard that red-legged hermit crabs could harm the anemone  , and I was wondering if blue-legged crabs would pose the same problem. I have no crabs in there at the moment, I was just wondering if I could put them in there in the future.

id be more worried about the anenome going after the hermits - blue legged hermits are generally very peaceful, but like syffe said there is always exceptions - condy's are fairly hardy and large growing anenomes so you should be fine

agreed... i'd be more worriedabout the anen not the hermit crab... but just keep an eye out if you suspect anything.

If your corals are off the ground the3y will do better because the crabs will have to climb to get to the corals

Blue leg hermits won't hurt your corals. Heard Scarlet may though.
