is anyones datnoid really aggresive?. i have liek a 3 inch datnoid and i have like a drift wood cave in my tank and all it does is stay in there and when fishes go around it it will attack it and when i turn off the light it will come out and start chasing the fishes. does this happen toanyone else?

mine nips at my payara sometimes but hes super active and swims everywhere

Mine is kept with a 9-10 inch silver and they swim together and night other than that its not aggressive nor is the arowana aggresive to him.

Datnoids are typically only aggressive amongst themselves, and that diminishes rapidly with groups of 3 or more datnoids. However, dats have been known to guard their caves and other hiding places against perceived threats.

My 3" indo dat will often chase the other fish away from his favorite cave. But he never has caused any noticable damage to any of the fish and they usually just swim away and pay him no bother.

My 3 datnoids ranging from 12 to 14 inches are kept with 4 distichodus affinis that are about 4 inches.
They dont even look at them...

dammm. that means that i have a evil datnoid-.-... watch me tame him :)
