View Full Version : "Rescued" This Silver Of Mine
Went to a nearby fish shop and saw this poor fella in a 1.5 x 1.5 footer tank. Turning round and round with mouth touching the tail. guess you guys already catch the drift eh.... :(
But good news is that it's now happily enjoying a much much bigger tank space in my house with other aros and tankmates in there. Although it's not the perfect silver I always wanted, but some how or rather it just stand a spot in my heart.:)

Thanks bro. But stil the tank setup is not the best. It's just a basic tank with filter that's all.

Yes. Silvers are not treated with any respect here for I guess they're one of the cheapest aros around.
aside from the drop eye (is it drop eye or just from the pic?) i think it looks great.. nice shiny scales and body shape from the pics.. just needs a little pumping and it would probably look fantastic in a couple of weeks :screwy:
nice save by the way

This fella took a bullfrog and some superworms today. Hopefully it'll eat more for these few days, he's more willing to eat.
