solution to hiding datnoid

my friend told me this today. dunno if it will work but he said it worked for him. my dat always hides while the light is on and so does my friends. so he told me that he left the light on for 2 days straight without turning it off and now instead of his datnoid hiding it wanders around the tank like all the other fishes. is this true? did it work for anyone else that ever did it be4?

there is an easier way to get him to move around the tank. You take a nine volt battery and touch it to the water. he will be jimping around all day.

hmm...my dat is so outgoing, I just brought the little guy home yesterday and whenever anyone walks by he goes over to investigate. He'll look right back at you if you put your face in front of the glass. He is the only fish in the tank though..
