Im going on vacation for 1 week. Should I leave some live feeders in the tank for the tigers to eat while Im gone? Or will they be good for the week? I know my 4.5" IT will be good. He's gone longer than that without eating anything. But Im not sure about my (2) 2" NTT's??
Any suggestions?

Do you know anyone that can stop by a couple times during the week and feed them? That is what I am doing when I go on vacation. Even if your friends/family do not know about fish you can separate the food in portions so they do not overfeed.

Yes I do. But they will only be able to feed them like 2 times in the week. Would that b good enough?

Eh, they will fine. I wouldnt even worry about it. I just fed my ST for the first time in over six weeks.
just do a few large feeding then the day before you leave do a large water change and you will be good...

But how big is your ST??? From what I hear the baby tigers need to eat everyday? Is that not correct?

Its 8" but you are right in a way. Younger dats do need to eat more often but if they are healthy a week is nothing. My little ITs that less then an inch havnt eaten in about 10 days.

hunger for 1 week will not kill the fish. bad water quality will.
feed before and do a good wc before you leave. dont leave food in the tank and it will be fine.
