I have kept crappie, bluegill, and sunfish. Not for very long though. I'd like to get a catfish of some sort. That would be more interesting.

are crappie aggressive?

nope theyre really docile fish. they have the same personality as an esox would.
But much smaller mouths, crappie aren't as aggresive as most blue gill but do like the occasional guppy. As an aside, the smallest sturgeon I can legally acquire/ship is now 42", pike minnows are any size from 4"- 30"

The only native I've got right now is a channel cat. I'm in the process of searching for a northern pike and a muskie though.

In the past I've kept LMB, which I think everyone has and Fl Warmouth....I love those, they tend to have a very good apetite. Love the striping in the face when they get ticked.

I currently have a few yellow bullhead cats of various sizes, several bluegill, a few green sunfish, a LM bass, and gambusia for feeders. I also have some minnow that I haven't identified and a red shiner. I'm currently on the look out for a small gar that I don't have to buy and whatever other local native that I don't have.
