Electric eels

im thinking of geting a Electric eel. what would a shock from one of these guys do to a human. how would i set up a tank for one.

why would you want one of these? its like owning a tiger. to much liability. what if someone came into your house and stuck thier hand in the water? ...i wouldn't do it. would be kinda neat to watch it eat though. shocking stuff. that could be cool. they are ugly as hell too. oh well to each his own.

i think they would be cool. if it makes you happy i will put a sign on the tank that says BEWARE HIGH VOLTAGE. that way i can say i at least told them. i think they are cool looking. but i guess its just my opinion

tank dosent need anything special

just a sandy bottom and afew pieces of driftwood made into a hiding place will do :)

I like electric eel too and it's very easy to keep them.
You can check my picts of the environment. It's simple!
And the point is "Put a water pipe" in the tank please... :)
