so i have 3 green texas's hericthys carpintis "escondido". planning to get a pair of them, and my brothers friend i just found out has a pair of gt's in a 10 gallon:irked:, i informed him of the size requirements of these fish and he asked me to take them off his hands, so my question is what would be the minimum tank size for a pair of green terrors and a pair of green texas? i was thinking 90g at least.

A breeding pair of adult Carpintis alone will lay claims to a 90g. Step it up to something six foot long.

hmm it matters not, how about a 150? 5x2x2 more precisely

Should suffice.

Depends on individual temperament, but yes 150 should suffice.

should be ok as long as there is some kind of 'view block' in the tank. i have a large piece of bog wood in the middle of my tank and it seems to help as they are not always within view of each other so get less stressed out

good save on the GT's by the way, best fish ever

Think it will be OK untill they get up closer to full adult size and then You may have problems. Then it really depends on individual temperment
