as you can see the sediments is removed by just rubbing it with my fingers(better with a fine scotch brite)...can you see the water mark(in straiht line) on this glass cover?

I'm amazed that you could wait a month. With todays generations' requirement for instant gratification, I don't think many people will use this information. For a couple of bucks, enough vinegar can be had to clean a dozen tanks. Sorry you waited a month. :D

well i guess these are for those who are lazy to give an extra effort on removing it manually,, using vinegar,or people that are too busy to have it in some ways:)

I don't think it's a practical way of doing something that isn't really that difficult to take care of in 10 mins with Vinigar... you'd wait that long just for the contianer to fill with water... but if you have the time to wait and don't mind having a garbage can filled with water and a tank doing nothing ... Thats cool :D
