There seems to be a lot of Clown loach threads here so I thought I would post a photo of a Fly River Turtle surrounded by several hundred clown loaches. Turtle is about 45cm and the loaches are about 3-4cm. Most of the loaches were at the other end of the tank......

That FRT is looking good! Interesting combo. I bet you start having clowns missing one by one

Pignosed turtles can't even catch food that fast.

In an enclosed space, I wouldn't put it past one... it's a turtle after all, even if they do prefer vegetable matter. Cool photos nonetheless.

Ok, Im game. Whats your reason for saying this:screwy:? My FRTs have munched many a fish and can swim just as fast as them in a tank when they want to. Entertain me

Here is another photo。The turtle does eat the little loaches but they are easily available and cheap/free.

Better to eat the clown loaches than those rays. Have you tried that combo?

how/where do you get cheap or free loaches, they're at least 9 bucks for small ones here.

The loaches are bred occasionally for fun/interest. Wholesale price for the same size (unlanded) is about 28 cents each which doesnt make it profitable to sell for me.

I think its kinda stupid to keep loaches in danger like that,as well as without hiding places and stuff.
