I wanted to share some pics with you guys from my friend John with ILC, this is an example from his new line and has Elvis blood in them. What ya guys think? I am a sucker for short body fish!

ILC has been crankin out some nice fish and these are some of the best I have seen. Elvis has some awesome genes and other fish were amazing so I cant wait to see how this guy grows up.
here are some updates on these fish and there is a group buy soon to import these bad boys to the USA. :drool:

there is good chance of them being fertile. Prices average $150-$250. Some more, some less sometimes.
Also shipping is available from the wonderful Julie (flowerhornsbrombeyond.com) I will have more details for you guys over the next week as we get the final details ironed out. I cant wait to see some of Elvis offspring in the USA.

i want, the website is pretty good. never heard of it til now. do they update it a lot and get more stock in all the time?
ILC is a club of breeders in Indo that breed fish for Indo competitions and have an impressive track record. The nice thing is you getting fish directly from the source and not a reseller so they dont always has stock ready for sale. Their females are never for sale for obvious reasons and you cant buy a fish under 4" as that's when you can see if a fish will be quality or caca. The cool thing about GB is you can save on shipping :)

the group buy is when a bunch of people go in on a big order to get a better price and quality on fish straight from the breeder or dealer overseas. The ILC group buy is aug 10 and will be open for one week. ILC is a flowerhorn "club" in indonesia that all work together in their breeding projects to raise fish for competition in Asia. Elvis is one of their best fish of all time in many peoples eyes.

I need a class on FH again! He's ok, but I have seen better (my opinion). He has a nice hump. nice fins and nice pearls, not too fond of his coloring though. Im waiting to be "learned" lol! Comments please?

Each flowerhorn strain has its specific traits and you need to judge it against its strain but regardless this is damn near a perfect flowerhorn to the world standard. Large solid body, fan tail, large KOK, sunken eyes, nice mouth not to mention the intensive sand/worm pearls. One important thing to look at is the color and pearling over the KOK, not many fish have solid heads as well pearling to go across with out being distorted. I will look for some previous fish from his line and the pearling pattern does pass down.

Everyone have different tastes, or everchanging taste. This fish might look "OK" to you, but in near future it might be your dream FH. And what you thought looked like an MP now might look really ugly to you in the future. In order for us to have an idea of what you like, post up some pics of FH that you think it's a MP.
IMO, Elvis is about 9.5 out of 10. I am a huge old school look GM guy. (I hate the new SML, or Thai KMLs) Only thing I don't like about Elvis and some of ILC fish are that they look old. I am not a fan of sunken eyes either. But then, I would still take sunken eyes over bulgy eyes;)
I will be stay tuned for ILC GB on FHCRAZE.:headbang2

so many nice fish. I can't wait to see the update pictures. How long ago where these taken Dan?? The update pics allways seem to be a lot nicer. I can't wait to see the updates once they are here. It's allways fun to see how much they improve in just a few months. There are some gems in there for sure!!!
I am not too sure on the pics, I think pretty recent. That elvis has some solid genes and its not every day people get the opportunity to get such a powerful bloodline.
