what do generally crayfishes eat? ive seen mine catch live feeders, but what do they really eat out there in the wild?
i know some of them eat plants :swear:

who cares what they eat in the wild :)
you can offer them alot of stuff
they are omnivorous
so you can offer dillerent types of fish food, lettuce, spinach, cat or dog food, reptile food, small fish, etc etc.

A good combo is feeding them a 50:50 mix of sinking catfish pellets and rabbit pellets. It's inexpensive and meets most ot\f their needs. After food, look to providing them iodine and calcium supplements. The 2 are needed to aid in the crayfish's molt and restore lost calcium.
They eat everything from earthworms to corndogs.

I used to feed mine earthworms and sometimes lettuce. It also ate uneaten fish food that fell to the bottom of the tank...but yeah, they will pretty much eat anything.

yes they will eat anything thats food. what kind of meat becareful of water quality
