DB junkie, I couldn't find the post I made showing the pictures of my female marble so posted them again here. First pic is the day (april 2006) I brought her home. Second pic is 5 months later, and last pic is from this past winter.

Looks like marbles are best homed with white/light colored bottom.

what sizes where the pics taken at?
I think she was around 8" dia when I bought her. She was really thin then so hadn't grown much after 5 months, just fattened up. She's about 12" now.
