Wonder if they new it was the female and if it was ready to have another pup?
What amazes me is that someone would go entirely out of the way to make that happen. Interesting post.

$20,000 for a breeding pair of Australian Marbled Catsharks.
That sucks they took one of a breeding pair. People have no shame nowadays.

Another thing to think about this situation - It's very likely the person that stole the female - may not be as capable of caring for the shark - as the owner of the shop- who was breeding them was.

anyone who is going to steal a specific shark from a tank in a backroom knew what they were going after

It would of been pretty sweet if the owner walked back and it was just a couple of dead thieves in a shark tank.
