I'm working on my start of breeding freshwater stingrays, I live on Long Island and was wondering if anyone knows of there being any sort of demand for them within pet stores? Does anyone else around here sell stingrays, if so...any tips on going about it the right way would be appreciated.

I doubt that your LFS will be very interested in your rays. Like Nic said it is a lot cheaper to get them from a wholesaler.

I have seen motoros as cheap as $60 on a wholesaler invoice, and retics are around $20.

If you go any cheaper you will lose money. Feeding the rays alone can cost an arm and a leg sometimes. Especially if you have a bunch of adult rays.
