the shop just had a label piranah, so i hope there not pacus

unfortunately, my friend, that is an assumption none of us can make, anywhere in the world..lFS labels and truth is, most often, apples and oranges..

can we see some pix?

they are the 2 easiest fish to pick apart, look at pics of juvey comon pygo's and thena t the retarded pacu, clear cut jaw difference, I mena if they are fry, maybe but anything over half inch is easytown usa, and pygos are skittish by nature, especially in empty well lit tanks with high traffic

ok managed to get one in view, as 1/3 of the tank is hidden behind another tank its hard to get a pic of them since there soo small

in this tank is 1 river cooter turtle and 3 piranah and nothing else

and yes that is a spare tank in the bottom that will house the turtle when its larger

thanks for the id guys
there eating the bloodworm so far they are tiny right now and in a 3foot tank they disapear,

are they agressive from birth?
how fast do they attain adult size?
is it wise to feed prawn and blood worm ONLY? what else can i feed them right now

what can easily kill them off? so i know what to avoid

thanks mark

from what i know they are pretty hard. you might wanna give them frozen shrimp from the supermarket. that brings out the colors the best. THEY GROW FAST. in 2 months they will be a lot bigger
