Where the heart is!!!
While doing some maintenance on my tanks, found this on some Malaysian wood in one of my tanks. First appearance in three years of owning this piece. How do I get rid of it? Tank inhabitants are Dats, Polys, Eels, Aro and of course, some plecos. Please advise. Thanks. (Hope these pics are clear enough)

don't know what kind it is, but you can get rid of it by boiling the wood, then by reducing the light in the tank.

Will puring boiled water over it work the same way? This piece is definitely waaaayyyyy to huge to boil.
