I want to build a pond in my room 84" by 43" by 33". I want to build it out of 2X4s and OPlywood with a piece of glass siliconed to the pond liner. For filtration I will use a pentair aququatics filter system, with sever 500 watt heaters. One thing I am un sure of is glass thickness. I have a large piece of tempered giass that i could put in the system. The setup will house a pair of motoros and a hawiian any comments are appreciated Let me know if this is feasible. thanks :screwy:

your probably going to have difficulty siliconing glass to a pond liner

no doubt silicone completely falls off pond liner in a few months... i seen someone do it using plexi and stainless steel bolts using the liner as a gasket it seemed to work, but i wouldn't trust it

have to have ametal frame built that will clamp onto the liner like a pond skimmer does or go concrete pond if you want glass
