Get them. I own one and he is great. Once you et them, please post pictures.
If you notice a good bit of aggression and you think you may lose a fish, try to sell the one getting beat up to someone that wants one if you can or separate them. These fish are getting too rare to let one fish kill three others.

Get them! They are awesome fish! Beautiful, very aggressive, and they don't get huge. Probably one of the best centrals one could keep.

yea if my buddy gets alot in Tim we could clean him out,
im setting up a 75 gallon for them if i can get them
if not i got a pair of bocourti that need a tank to get there jiggy on

Yes, I had a male and he not only looked deadly with his mouth full of teeth, He was deadly. He is by far the meanest cichlid that I have ever owned.

Well, if you're talking about Don Conkel from Florida he had a few hundred left at $3.00 ea. at .5" but he requires a minimum purchase of either $250 or $500. He is limiting 20 per customer/per order. So.... hopefully I didn't blow your cover. :ROFL:
