I was planning on adding 2 moar species of Bichir to my tank, but I'm not quite sure which two species to order in! I already own a Delhezi and a Senegal. Was sort of looking into a Weeksii or Mokelembembe... Any ideas, suggestions, opinions? Thanks! :)

weeksi have big heads=big mouths,make sure there size is close if you get one.
ornates are a nice active poly.

depending on sizeof tank 90gal to 120 palmas palmas,plamas polli. 125 265 Endie or and Lap.

A moke is a great choice yellow! Uncommon, even among MFK bichir keepers, only a handful of us have them.
A nice quality piece from the palmas complex is great too, these tend to be the 'yellow' bichirs, teugelsi too ;)

Not in a 100g bro, not long term anyways. I've got a 120g 4'x2' and I didn't like that foot print.
I think a 180g would be bare minimum, with 6' x 3' being better

haha. I already have a yellow Bichir, my Senegal (who has a little bit of a yellowish tint to him). I do like any of the Palmas subspecies too, and I'm just waiting for the (only) local Bichir dealer in town to get some kind in other than Senegals! I phoned in and he said he can order Palmas polli, Weeksii, Retropinnis, Ornate and SOMETIMES Mokes...
i vote ornate beautifull color on these guys

Okay everyone, I went to a fish store that can order Bichirs in yesterday (I guess there are 2 Bichir dealers in town now. :)) and they said they can order Delhezis and Ornates, so I ordered an Ornate. It should be here by tomorrow if Bichirs are in season. Now that an Ornate is on the way and one species is decided, I could still use some feedback on what kind of nice looking Bichirs you people reccommend for my collection. Thanks!

Right on. What size tank do you have? Now that you got one of the larger species, I would stick with others that reach comparable sizes. Ornates grow pretty slowly, so if you get like an endli, I would make sure the ornate is larger.
