Will two different species of Discus breed. I think I have a pidgeon blood and blue diamond.

yes they will breed..that is what my breeding pair are..pb is female, bd is male

i have a breeding pair,the female is a pigeon blood and the male is a blue diamond..they breed all the time..they do a good job until the fry become free swimming, then they eat them..i have been told by breeders that lighter colored discus have trouble rearing there young something about ,fry will have trouble attaching to light colored parent..they will breed if they pair up..good luck
