I believe it is something along the lines of a 125 being the minimum for an Aro.

360g tank with a 30g sump and a wet/dry filtration system. Or 6-7 aquaclear 500s instead of the wet/dry system.

because its a 4-foot fish. "But it can bend!" doesn't mean it should have to bend every time it wants to turn around.
anyway tank recommendations are opinions, that one is mine. although i really dont feel a 360g is suitable long term either. should be kept in at least a 8'x8' pond. same with pacu.

4' you are talking about wild Aro's, in captivity they barley reach little over 2'..

One arowana will need 125 gallons and each oscar will need atleast 75 gallons per oscar. But the more tank, the better. You need an abosolutely great filtration for this. How many oscars do you have? this is for full grown fish but they grow surprisingly fast. Good luck with your project. Susie :)

I actually agree with the 300 gallon range and a heavy cover. I am looking at my 125 right now and I would not put my Aro in it at full size.
