Ok. I got this little bugger on Monday. My friend took him home due to the fact that i needed to clean up my 33 galon tank. So i did all of that, I take the bugger home Thursday afternoon. Thursday he swam around alittle bit ate a fish, Friday he swam alot less but also ate a fish. Today (Saturday) haven't seen him swim around at all hides in the cave i made him all day, hasn't eaten any feeders. Should I be worried because I can't help myself from doing so...Is being lazy and timid a common characteristic for juvinile thin bar dats.????..Keep in mind it's only 3 inchs max.
Thanks for your help guys....

They can be aggressive. Particullary to their own kind.
Datnoids can usually reach sizes around 14-16 inches but it takes a long time. They can get even bigger than that but not many are around.
That datnoid is a thin bar. I havent really seen many large ones except alfon's 13 incher.

Yeah they like to hide when they are little. Give him some time, get him some dithers. He'll come out when hes comfortable. ;)

Give him a tankmate. My NGT was barely eating but when I put a bichir in there, he was as voracious as can be.

depends which wolf...the two dwarfs tend to be more dosile however the true wolf is a monster and will kill at tank mates
