17th batch of eggs
but
they will never hatch or grow big due to the high volume of fish and the super suction of the Rena Xp3 filter
the blue red strip is the mommy
and
the white red strip is the daddy

im pretty sure discus will raise their own kids, them eventually they have problems eating off the slime coat or something weird.

My angels lay their eggs in the same spot. Then they eat them lol. I'v had so many batches of eggs I quit counting. You should try to relocate the eggs.

Heh filter tubes seem to be popular choices for discus to spawn on. They love to lay on vertical surfaces. I see why people recommending those keeping discus to lay their heaters horizontally so the discus don't burn themselves trying to spawn on it, or cooking their eggs lol.
mommy discus are good at raising fry, its kinda creepy tho it looks like 100 lil worms swimming around the mother and eating off of her lol.

discuss produce a milk like slime coat when the eggs hatch, so keep the fry in the tank for awhile, that way they can eat off moma

looks goods. Curious why you don't put them in there own tank and have some fun breeding them if they keep doing it. Good luck and have fun with it.

Nice discus, the mom is a red turq. and the male is a pigeon blood. I have 3 discus left that switch off breeding. I don't bother artificially raising the fry. Its expensive caviar for my pleco:screwy:
