i was at the pet store about three months ago and bought one peacock and i had the hardest time feeding it because of its size it only lasted about a month, so then i went to the reservoir and caught two 6-8 inchers but only got them eating live how do i switch them to pellets or shrimp?

I have converted Pbass to pellets at a small size. If you do this, use high calorie food like Hikari Carnivore.

Mine are still spitting pellets. They take surface food, and anything else I put in for that matter. But if they hit a pellet they spit it out immediatly. Might have to skip one day feeding then offer them up?
