These aren't pictures of me or anything but Lake Wilson is located in Wahiawa, Hawaii (born and raised there by the way) and is the only freshwater lake in Hawaii...I've been fishing there as a lil boy many of times not knowing what I was catching, thinking, i rather be fishing in the ocean...lol...squid, hook, rod, and wait...lol...most us islanders are lazy...mean laid back...none of that angling fish you mainlanders do!!!lol but im headed back this Dec and bugging my dad to take me to lake wilson!!!! and if you every decided to go fishing there...make sure you stay away from the bums under the bridge...lol...And also some misc pictures of what else you can catch...lol pacu...red devil...snakehead

hahahaha....thats how i got my first start at cichla!!! you know that urge as little kid to take a fish home put it in a tank after you catch it, well fortunately we my dad had a large tank :D!!! hahaha

Ive caught some oscars and a pirhanna out there also. to be honest if you were to go fishing there and caught any fish from there, you might want to keep them alone and away from your other fish. 9 times out of 10 they've gotten really aggressive and will attack anything you put them with. that goes to any fish you catch out in wilson and decide to keep it as a pet. lake wilson is where people go and dump there fish. and im guessing i got the pirhanna because in hawaii i was told they are illegal. so someone was probably about to get in trouble and had to dump.

man its been storming here off and on i was planning a trip before new years but it start pouring hard so i had to cancel...im actually down by ka'ala elementary so not too far

LOL I'm about 3miles away from lelehua! Yah the rain bumed my cichla fishin plan but still got to go to koolina and to try catch me an ulua LOL but go stuck catchin a puffer, Tako and trigger LOL but I'm headed back there end of feb. Let's plan a trip bro
