I have 6 clowns and 3 yoyo's living together. They have been together for over a year now.

Doesn't sound like there'd be any trouble with that mix.

seems that there isn't a problem both are not aggressive fishes, they will get along just fine

Never had a problem with that combo but had to move a syndontis because the loaches sucked on it.

yoyos can be aggressive if they're kept alone. I had 2 together that were rather aggressive...not to each other but to other fish. they're definitely best kept in trios as are clowns. a trio of each should be fine together. :D

I have 5 of each with 6 assorted corys and a baby Uaru. By FAR my favorite tank to watch. The yoyo's are quickly becoming my favorite loach. All the spunkiness and playfulness of the clown loach in a much smaller package.
