sure is as long as your koi are decent size and i would go for a smaller more docile turtle like a slider

My uncle has tried to put turtles in his pond many times they will be fine aslong as it isn't a snapper but if they can find a way out they will eventually leave. Thats what always happens to my uncle.

true turtles are escape artist best remedy is to have an island for them to bask and then the edges of the pond be a vertical surface with the water level being abit lower than the top worked in my old pond no turtle escaped
