This was actually the first pumpkin that I've actually tried to carve. I've only carved one before this
(besides the ones when I was a little kid helping Mom and Dad) and it was just an easy/cheesy one.

I look forward to next year. I challenge everyone to enter next years contest. Lets get this one going.

LoL! You used a fake pumpkin? Is that even aloud?
Doesn't seem very fare.

People with real pumpkins have to carve all at once as quick as they can before it starts going bad if they want it detailed.

A person with a fake pumpkin could spend all year if they wanted to, making it intricate as hell. And you don't have to deal with imperfections or scraping the inside evenly in the front. Plus it's a heck of alot easier to carve being so light and foamy.
I had to hold a 42 lb pumpkin in my lap for 9 straight hours......

I dont know.....I guess I might be the only one who feels that way.

I don't think that it really matter's now especially since I didn't win. I just get to enjoy my pumpkin for as long as I want. And just so you know people who use real pumpkins do not have to do them as fast at they can to keep them from wilting and not showing the detail, you just have to keep the pumpkin covered with a damp cloth.
