Has anyone got there guys on dead foods mine only touches live?
Yes, mine gladly eats shrimp and worms. If you are familiar with changing a fish's diet, this should not be a problem.

That is about the only way for these stubborn fishes.
And if you got another datnoid in there that is already trained to take dead food.
But it is very hard for you to train them to take pellets.

But freeze dried krill is greedily eaten.

Most of my datnoids eat pellets with ease. They only eat tyhe Hikari carnivore pellets but at leats it is pellets. They also consume freeze dried krill and other meaty items.
Once you have them hooked up on live food, they are hard to get onto non-live items but not impossible.
Good luck,
Ivan

Considering the huge appetite of datnoids, that is one expensive pellets to use. :22_yikes:
If you are in Singapore like me, using feeders will be cheaper than using Hikari Carnivore pellets.
