has anyone out there ever had one of these, what is the likelyhood it will eat my fish if it is fed once a week..????

Which species are you refering to as "elephant ear" ? (Just so I'm sure I've got the right thing in mind.) Big flat light-cream colored soft coral that will curve in on itself when feeding????

I've had them before, and never had an issue with them and the fish in the tank. I was surprised at how well it did sitting lower in the tank.

elephant ear is a giant mushroom they will eat small fish but nothing to worry about

It's like an anenome.It's favorite food is clownfish.
