I have a 75Gallon Tank and I would like to get a Poly. It is a Community ish. Contains A severum, Geophagus Jurupari, Clown Loaches, a Uaru then acouple smaller fish. The smallest fish is a 2" Clown Loach. I was thinking a Senegal because they only get 10" but IMO they are kind of drab in color.
So i was thinking a Delhizi but they get alittle larger.
How big of a fish could a full grown Senegul Eat? Because I am scared it will out grown my CL's and eat a CL.

Thank you

You're better off sticking to delhezi, palamas palmas, platinum or albino senegal, polli palmas, and retropenis than any other type of bichirs. Clown loaches are slow grower and is a potential risk to get eaten. I think as long as you keep your bichirs well fed it will not have the urge to eat a CL.

Ornate is a bad choice because those get pretty big. They're known to be quite aggressive toward other fish and bichirs. If you like the ornate pattern then I suggest geting a palmas palamas.

Alright I am gunna go to some LFS tomarow see what they have. If the Ornate is small I will think about it but I am looking for a nice sized Senegal(spelling?).
