im not gettin a stingray but was just curious, do FW stingrays eat nothing but live and frozen foods? do they ever eat fish foods like pellets/tablets?

Yes, I did hear that stingray may get used to pellets/tablets, how ever I believe it is better for them to have live/frozen food. My rays dislike the non live food and I didn't make an effort to make them become used to it.

Yes, you can train them to eat pellets. Hikari massivore pellets seem to be very common for ray owners.

i use to have a hystrix that would swim upside down on the surface to eat floating pellets

i feed lots of pellets,and frozen types of shrimp and fish... takes a lil bit of trial and error sometimes but a hungry healthy ray will eat anything... :)

My young rays only really eat, bloodworm amd meaty feeds, my big female will eat any pellets even the cheap stuff.

you're better off feeding the real stuff as long as you can get quality/bulk portions.
