Finally got around to snapping some pics of my 4 Red Belly's (5 inches) and their pleco friend (6 inches). Funny thing is the pleco has sort've been the dominate one of the tank. These Red's are VERY Skiddish but i'm trying to change that by going down stairs into the basement more often to get them used to me. It's very isolated down there but due to the weight of both the tanks that's where I wanted to place them. I hope you like them!

Pretty reds. :) What size tank they in, a 72 bow? And what size is the other tank? And whats in it? Thanks for sharing, they look good. Yeah most piranhas are skittish and will be until they are comfortable with the tank and traffic around the tank.. Always spend time looking at them.

Really cool set up. Really nice colors on those P's as well. Are there pic's of your wolfish up anywhere on the boards? I'd be interested to see him as well. I'm digging the rocking chair in front of the tanks too, must be a great place to relax.

Yes, the tank is a 72 gallon bowfront. The other tank is a 90 gallon with a oak stand. I have pictures of the 90 gallon tank, with the wolf fish, up in the "other chiracins" section. Gotta love the rocking chair in front of the tanks...haha.

I was feeding them smelt for a while but they seem to have gotten bored with it so I recently switched over to worms and now shrimp. I was suprised how dominant the pleco is. He will dart at the fish and actually steal some of the meat that is dropped in for them...haha. I wasn't aware that they liked meat?! What suprises me is that I had 2 RBP's about 10 years ago in with a pleco and they eventually killed it but I dont see that happening with this one, at least I hope not. Thanks for the compliments, I've worked really hard setting these tanks up over the last few months and I'm not done yet. Then again are we ever done

Yep, identical situation. Let's hope that it doesn't change :nilly:
I set up a nice cave with the rocks so that the RBP's would have some shelter but the pleco seems to have claimed that peice of territory..haha.
