well here is my plan....

I have a barebottom 220 (the bottom of tank (outside of tank) is painted black)

I am going to get a couple of small 6-8" koi, 1 butterfly and 1 ginrin (mirror) koi

I was wondering if a 10" royal and 16" clown knife would be compatable if added at the same time? there is driftwood in there (floating at the moment)

will post pics to.....

thanks

if the knifes aren't compatable which one would you get?

i am not sure if they would be compatable, koi are coldwater fish while, knifes need warmer water

also just make sure that they are feed and you should be able to keep them together, the koi might end up eaten and probably cooked by the temperature....

I was thinking about that coldwater deal and I have seen them in 80degree ponds here (summer) and in aquariums with knives...

thanks....
