whats a good freshwater shark i can put in a 4ft tank?

Bala shark. Red tail shark. ;)
 
They can get good size, over 14'' I think. Normally I think between 8-12'' is common.
 
well, it really depends on which 4 foot tank.
55, you could do a red tail shark for life.
75, you could do bala for life.
anything bigger you can put either in...
 
What kind of FW shark are you thinking of? Because these two sharks we named are not true sharks and do not behave like sharks you may think of.
 
Is there any fish in it yet?
