LFS for 70 bucks. He has been playing well so far, and he is eating well. Seems like a good deal to me.

wow i love clown loach that would be amazing in my collection im so jellous i can never find big clowns in the uk.
i got 17 4'' clowns and i seen 4 fighting...snapping at each other and biting each other. didnt know these actually fight with each other btw nice CLown

You can get some small ones to go with him and it shouldn't be a problem. But, he will definitely need some friends.

wat size friends u getting them i whish i could spend $70 on a cl because of a minor set back caused by my wife and her love for shoping!!!!!! i love them but im not gna be getting fish more than $50 each lol...... damn 5k spent on shoes and cloths.

awesome loach!
Try to find 3-4" loaches if possible. If smaller ones are avail. get them. They will set the pecking order once all are in the mix.

sometimes my petco has a really good deal on 3-4" clowns. I'll probably get them all when they do.

Very nice clown loach. I also thought about getting some of those guys for my tank.
Don't know of online sources, but someone on the GCCA.net site has/had some 4-6"ers for sale. Chicago is only a couple hours away for ya.

more like 5 hours. I might go hit some fish stores up there sometime though.
