discus with predatory

just wondering cuz im i think itll look better. if i coudl keep my 6 2 inch discus in my predatory tank.
with my atf 2 widebars albino bichir tangnkyan perch chinese perch black earred paroon shark and jardini?
u think its possible theres really no aggresion in the tank except the atf sometimes chases the bala sharks. and all these fish range from 2-4 inches.

i wouldn't even chance it! discus stress very easy and with aggressive fish they will be picked on hard! i have an aro with mine and they don't even bother eachother....

cuz i think about it the water is the same both tanks have drift wood only thing that is diff is the temp and i coudl alwaays raise the tank to 82 and then the only problem is the other fishes attacking them. but i have my jardini with my discus and thats the most aggresive fish i have and its doin fine.

Agree with folks above. Discus are a little too timid. I do keep an angelfish in my predator tank... no problem. Has been raised in there. But Angelfish are a little less timid than discus .. less likely to feel threatened by fast movement / aggressive feeding.

i would't chance it at all.first off discus are beautiful fish on their own,second the fast movement will stress them out. and also the other fish will pollute the water much faster and affect the discus. another thing is the discus will be scared to eat once the other larger fish or agressive fish come near them. just my 2cents

I have always heard that discus don't do well with predatory fish. I understand they are fairly difficult to keep the way it is.

I keep my discus with angels, arrowana, and a histrix ray and my discus eat without any problem.
