yes but not all species for example you can cross 2 different members of the trichogaster genus.

sounds good, anyone ever crossed gourami's ?
opalines and snakeskins would be good. bigger opalines with a slender shape and stronger patterns

i've seen honey gouramis crossed with dwarf gouramis

Geneally, two species of gouramis can bred their first generation of offsprings. Although They cant produce the next generation.
