here's the catch the eel is in the same tank for now. I am aware NOW that it is brackish so I am keeping the recommended amount of salt in my aquarium so there is some salinity. As you can see though this eel is plenty healthy and eats like a horse.. he feeds every night, never misses a meal and is growing fast.. thanks for the comment

great that makes me happy
thanks for the comments, as for the eel I am really unsure of what to do with this fish as It's brackish and I didn't know it until recently.. so far its very healthy but some people on other forums are very mad at me for even having this fish.. Maybe I will just wait it out until I have problems with it... thanks again

the eel is in my freshwater tank due to the fact that I bought it under the false impression that it was indeed freshwater.. my 180 is on the way and as soon as its here I will try to make brackish arangments for the eel.. just some info that I have been finding out about this fish though.. some of these fish are found in completely freshwater conditions but they have the option to seek out saltwater if needed.. I have been told that they will become very picky eaters if everything is not just right and as you can see mine is very happy.. I keep the recommended amount of aquarium salt in the tank to add some salinity but I don't have him in brackish water.. thanks again everyone, please keep'em coming

more power to you man, if you can manage to keep a moray in FW in a healthy and vivacious state then by all means do so! Although I would still imagine it wouldn't quite still be as well off as if it were in a salt environment, but that's just speculation.
