Haiku's have 3 lines, the first has five syllables, the second has seven syllables, and the last has 5 syllables. For example:

My fish has pink eyes
Is it conjunctivitis?
Tobramycin please

Wurm,

Will you be breaking down every Haiku down by syllable?

If they do not meet the definition, will they be dis-qualified?

I have alot of posts to do for mine to be able to enter. I wish you guys would do a join date cut off instead of post count. I don't like posting just to get numbers. I think I should only post if I have something meaningful to add to the thread. Oh well, off I go to try and up my post count.

We face problems both ways. If we go by join date, someone who has not participated in the forum at all, but joined in 2006 could win a prize.
