Here this guys is. He is approx 4.5inches now. Just pulled him from the growout 125 for solo nurturing. Not sure the type he is. I picked him because i thought he would make a good addition to my small freemarking collection. Only had this guy for about 4months now maybe 5. Got him when he was 1inch from petland...

Mmmm I need to start a free marking collection. That guy's built like a tank for sure! He's no trimac lol I love his pearls, they're really irridescent lookin. What are you feedin this guy? His base color seems a bit dark, maybe because of the black gravel?

i feed this guy a mix of foods from kensfish.com. :D

yeah darker cause stressed i imagine. recently moved him into a solo tank, and haven't found a light for him yet. give me a couple months to work with him and i'll take more pictures. :)

he looks good. and mean. i hope he doesn't bite when you clean the tank. his mouth looks like it would hurt. i have been lucky in that the only fish that attacks me is my 8 inch bp. he can't bite so it is just funny.

thanx he hasen't tried to take me on yet. my hand is still bigger then him. soon tho will be another story altogether. haha i totally hear you on the bp biting. my females love to to take chunks off me while i'm in their tanks doing whatever.
